Beautify is our app, so weigh our take accordingly; every competitor fact below comes from that app’s own App Store listing or website, checked in October 2026. We did not run accuracy tests and report no test results. This page compares what each app says it does, where it runs and how it charges, so you can pick the one that fits what you want from a score.
How did we choose these apps?
We included apps that give a face rating or beauty score from a selfie and that recur in App Store searches and comparison articles for “face rating app”. We then looked at five things:
- What the score covers: named categories, or a single number with no breakdown.
- What comes after the score: face shape, skin notes, routines, coaching or tutorials.
- Pricing model: what is free, what needs a subscription, and whether extra scans cost more.
- Platforms: iPhone only, iPhone and iPad, or Android too.
- Listing activity: when the App Store listing was last updated.
Is there a most accurate face rating app?
No face rating app publishes independent validation of its scores, so there is no honest answer to “which is the most accurate”. These apps estimate how a face in one photo might be rated, and that estimate shifts with camera distance, lighting, head angle and expression. Research supports this: a 2014 study in Psychological Science by Todorov and Porter found that impressions of the same person varied as much between different photos of them as between different people. Our guide are face rating apps accurate? covers the details. The practical takeaway: pick an app for what it gives you beyond the number, and take every photo the same way.

Subscribers also get ten step-by-step makeup looks and an AI beauty advisor. It has 4.4 stars from 1,100+ ratings on the US App Store (October 2026).
Limitation: results need Beautify Premium, a weekly subscription, and you get one analysis scan per subscription week; extra scans are a one-off Superboost purchase. It is iPhone only. See pricing.

Bottom line: which face rating app should you use?
Choose by what you want after the number, because no app here has shown its scores are more accurate than the others. If you want scores alongside your face shape, eye shape, skin type and a glow-up plan, Beautify is built for that (and it is our app). If you want daily tracking and a coach, UCHAD or PSL describe those features; if you want golden-ratio fun, try BeautyScan; if you need Android, look at Umax, LooksMax AI, UCHAD, PSL or Maxxing. Whatever you pick, treat the score as an estimate from one photo, not a verdict on you. If you are wondering whether a chatbot can do the same job, see can ChatGPT rate your face?
